I discovered For the People on ABC this last Friday via their second season premiere. I found the first season on Hulu and now I am bingeing through the first season because it expires on Hulu in 13 days. I am enjoying the show because it has a cast of interesting characters which offsets the somewhat rote courthouse drama.
The whole DST changing of the clock twice a year thing needs to stop. I hope that it does soon.
This is why I took the leadership position, and why every time I take on a new project, I pick a new language or technology that I don't already know:
calc.exe is now open source; there’s surprising depth in its ancient code.
Upgrade complete. micromookie.com is alive on Mastodon v2.7.4.
Time for a Mastodon upgrade. Upgrading to v2.7.4. Be back in a few minutes.
@mookie Embrace Snakes as the big, stupid B movie it is, and you won't be disappointed.
For the experience, I also recommend between 4 and 7 beers.
#Mastodon v2.7.4 is out 🎉
It is bug fixes
I haven't seen The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996) in a long while -- more than ten years at least. I saw this one in the theaters and walked out unimpressed. Now, 23 years later, it still doesn't impress me. The film is mediocre at best, which is unfortunate because both Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson are fantastic in the film.
I can understand why Samuel L. Jackson picked Mitch Hennessy as the character he loves the most. The character is wildly entertaining.
